I know, right? Weird. (I never said I wasn't.)
It's just that every couple years, I feel the need to make a huge life change. I don't know why, I just do. I started exercising. Dave Ramsey. That type of thing. Moving doesn't count.
I never said you had to understand it. You just need to know it. It's who I am.
I think it's just boredom. Restlessness. The baby is getting bigger and requires less of me, leaving me with more time. Time that I need to fill. I need a goal. Or a hobby. A life changing hobby. Something.
What is it that I need?
Is it strange to you that I feel my life is at a crossroads? I do. And I don't even know what the crossroads are. I keep tossing around the idea of going back to school- that one has been simmering for years. However. That still wouldn't be until next fall, leaving my current feelings unfulfilled.
I guess all of this is a good thing: it means I am feeling settled into my life here.
Settled, yet not.

Soccer doesn't count?
You are right, Jan. It might. I just haven't officially started yet. So I don't know.
Love the picture! Maybe a Xmas card? Again, you have cute kids!
I so get what you are saying. I have been having this feeling FOREVER. Glad to hear that I am not alone!

Shopping usually cures me for a day or two...
I've been having that same feeling like crazy lately. So, I decided to start bookin' it to get organized around here -- so I can start working on projects and getting more serious about Whimsical Junk.
Good luck -- you'll find something! Sounds like you always do. :) Change is good -- and necessary for some of us!

Maybe I feel that way too..maybe that's why after being out of the classroom for 6 years. .I am now subbing again! ;) Glad to know I have a reason for wanting too! :)
Partly I think it is the season change.
I was feeling that "crossroads" thing too, as my kids went back to school. I am starting to feel a little more settled- I am trying to spend more time in my studio. Good Luck!
Ugh. I commented and I don't know where it went.
I basically said that I don't have this problem. But it's likely because I'm less organized than you and I spend my life in a chaotic whirl trying to get everything done. I do spend some time thinking about my 'purpose' but don't feel restless, if that makes sense.
I hope you find IT, though, certainly! :)
I hear ya, lady. I wouldn't dare say I was bored but I wouldn't mind... something. Hope you find yours! <3
I like the pic of the kiddos. Cute. Sometimes I feel like that too. Something just gotta change. Usually something comes along.
