Danka.

I like to move it, move it...
My little wiggly, giggly
Kaija Paija
But, seriously. Thank you. Why as mommies do we feel we need permission for something as natural as our emotions? I mean, seriously. We can't help our emotions. I've been OvErWhElMeD (to say the least) this entire new year. And I really was banking on the fact that this x-ray we had taken was going to be the climax to it all. This new year's resolution was going to be a different kind... and it was going to be that I could finally! relax and let the stress all slide off my shoulders. And when that didn't happen, I felt like someone slapped me across the face. And even though I said I was going to have a temper tantrum, I didn't let myself. Until I felt the understanding and compassion in your comments in my last post. And the permission to be mad! It was just what the Dr. ordered. Since I've been so honest, I might as well continue: I bawled myself to sleep last night. It's been a while since I cried that well. And I woke up with puffy eyes but with a lot less weight on my shoulders. So thank you, for your permission and understanding. Sometimes it is worth it to show your raw emotions to the world, after all.

Too cute. I love the first picture. I can't believe how big she is getting already!

Mindi I have never heard you let it all out or known you to cry. I do not know how you do it. You are inspiration to all of us!

and i think puffy eyes look great on you ;) always a work in progress, right? there are just so many possiblilities--amazing and scary when we are talking about a new little precious life just beginning. i'm tearing up over the stress of it all for you, but so happy you are keeping it real. you go with your bad self, Mother of Five.

She is so cute!! Totally know how you feel about emotions...Lord only knows I have my wide range of them. :) When I found out about Allison's multiple food allergies, I went through every emotion in the book...and I felt sorry for myself (and her of course)...and I cried...and was angry and so on... You are allowed. It helps you get to that acceptance phase. And to be hopeful again.

Aw..Mindi..she is so cute!! I could just squeeze her! :) And there is nothing like a good cry now and then to relieve our stress! you have had a busy life lately and of course the hip issues on top of it all!! Glad it made you feel better! Laura L.

I'm just getting around to catching up on all my blogs. You've been through the wringer, hey? And by that, I mean the $50 pipe repair. Dude, so sorry about that.

I kid. :) Your babe is beautiful. She's lucky to have a strong mom to help her get through the brace phase- you being mad about it lets her just accept it. I make no sense...

Love always!

Aw, I somehow missed this post. Thanks for being vulnerable- life is the pits sometimes. And your baby is beautiful and I'm glad you're her mom.

Good for you for letting it all out, and then sharing. Moms have the right to wear puffy eyes and red noses!
